My approach
I guarantee a personalised and comprehensive approach by:
- focusing on your individual needs, because I understand that you have your own aims, motivations and expectations;
- correcting French pronunciation errors that affect your communication effectiveness;
- designing tailor-made exercises aimed at eliminating grammar errors that often could occur in your speech;
- providing unique hints that will help you better understand and remember the French grammar rules.
- I aim to explain difficult topics in a simple and intuitive way, drawing – whenever it is possible – an analogy between French and English languages. If a method doesn’t work, I will look for another one, that fits better your learning style, because I understand that not everyone acquires knowledge in the same way.
In my lessons, I will share with you tips that you will not find easily elsewhere.
My Experience and Testimonials
I gained experience in teaching French, among others, in London, where I taught this language, for over seven years, to students of different ages and from various ethnic groups. I prepared my students for their GCSE exam (age 14-16), A-level and Westminster French Challenge examinations (the difficulty level of the latter exceeds that of the French A-level exam in the UK). Before, in Poland, I had helped Polish future University students in their preparation for the entrance examinations to various higher-educational institutions.
For eight years, I also tutored in French (and English, maths and other subjects) pupils attending the bilingual French-English Marie d’Orliac Primary School in London, from CP to CM2. Since 2022, I have also successfully tutored in French a student from the Lycée français in London.
Below, you can read the testimonials of some of my clients who appreciated effectiveness of my French lessons, my commitment and conscientiousness.
Services
Conversations
In order to boost your motivation and improve your learning results, I suggest having conversations on topics you are interested in, and during which you will have the opportunity to listen to my native speaker’s pronunciation.
We can consider working together in the following way: we get acquainted with the material that you or we will choose together, for example a French newspaper article, a short broadcast or documentary, a podcast or their excerpts, a poem, an extract from a book, etc. If you like, we can devote part of the next lesson to short, personalised grammar exercises, which I will design after having listened to your speech during our last lesson. It will let you fill in your gaps, brush up on or enhance your French grammar. This option is a perfect way for you to enrich your vocabulary and produce more correct and more accurate speech in a pleasant and interesting way.
